The clients chose eastern black walnut as their hardwood, so we installed and finished a walnut butcher block countertop and solid walnut shelving & casing, all of which is finished in low v.o.c. food-safe water-based urethane.

These clients purchased a cute old house in historic West Asheville. Unfortunately, the existing kitchen did not fit the clients style and was far from ergonomic. We worked together directly, without an architect or designer, to create this stylish and affordable little kitchen. What the photos don't show is that we were able to remove a giant island from the middle of the space with no tile below it and make it look like it was never there. On-site project time: 5 weeks.
